"Asians vote Democrat because the GOP is anti-science" is pretty racist when you think about it.
Where do you hear this being said?

There were a couple of threads on the Presidential Election Trends board a while back about the Asian vote with answers like that.

That did indeed happen a more accurate way of stating this, which gets to the heart of the matter much better, would be: " college-educated individuals, particularly those with postgraduate education, have turned sharply against the Republican party in recent years due to its perceived "anti-science" policies. This has intern particularly affected voting habits among asian-americans who have overall higher levels of college and postgraduate education levels."

Tulsi's position on Assad is great. Some need to get over the neocon regime change fetishes.

Also the red avatar love for Baker, Phil Scott, Hogan, Sandoval, etc makes me want me to stick my hand down my throat and throw up.

Yeah, I woke up one morning and wanted to make an account, and so I ate a bagel for breakfast, and I decided to be bagel, and my favorite number, 21, was taken, 27 was also taken so I just picked the next odd numbers in the 20s closest to my favorite number.

White/Muslim is a VERY stupid dichotomy.

Not only is Islam not a racial category, but white Muslims exist too.

I genuinely, unironically believe that if Russia did interfere with the 2016 election, we honestly 158 percent deserved it and we should grow the f-ck up and stop whining about it, get over it, and actually focus on the things that really matter. He won, get the f-ck over it. It's been two years, and whining about it at this point is so immature that a toddler would look like Jimmy Carter next to you by comparison in maturity standards

I'm a devout Christian and adhere to many Christian ideals, including a complete ban on abortion and non-interventionism in foreign affairs unless absolutely necessary

The "name recognition" thing is just an excuse for progressives to continue to be in denial about Joe Biden.

Nice to try to apply the past results of different people in different situations instead of saying anything about the year and person in question.

Violent video games are a significant contributing factor to the rise in mass shootings over the past two decades.

Been rewatching some of my favorite movies lately ... though Matthew McConaughey's CHARACTER comes to the conclusion that it was future humans who built the "bulk space" in Interstellar, the end of the movie has as many theistic implications as it does anti-theistic ones, especially when all of the religious symbolism of the movie is concerned.  It does a good job of letting the viewer decide, IMO.

BONUS: Though there are many intelligent arguments/questions you can pose in favor of an atheistic view of the Universe, asking the question "Well, who created God?" is ridiculously dumb and undeserving of such a fascinating topic (whether or not there is a First Cause/Creator/God/etc.).

My ancestors fought and died at Edgefield for King Charles in order to give me white  male cis-scum bourgeois privilege and I’m not about to give it up.

I get upset when posters denigrate the Atlas forum and its community in an unironic manner.

If you really feel that way about this place and the people here, I think it'd be better if you went on your merry way.

There is no circumstance in which it is acceptable for people to have sex outside of the confines of a Biblical marriage.  The "religious right" is right to condemn homosexual sex as wrong, but it is not strong enough about condemning all heterosexual sex between unmarried men and women- this includes everything from one-night-stands to long-term relationships that have not resulted in marriage.

I don't want to get off topic, but I wonder if that's because the latter hits closer to home for many of us- how many evangelicals have sinned by having sex in a long-term heterosexual relationship, but before marriage?  Even the best Christians sin, and we cannot simply condemn those that are foreign to us (I don't think I regularly interact with a single non-straight person, for instance) while ignoring those that impact our communities more (I know plenty of Christians who have had pre-marital sex and presume many that I don't know about have as well).

Also, just because something is a sin and a person is a sinner does not give us permission to treat anybody with disrespect.  Every person on this Earth sins, which is why Jesus died for our sins.  We must respect sinners as people, but we also must do our best to not respect their sins.

The attacks about Klobuchar's treatment of staffers is just are nothing more than dressed up GOP "oppo research" sexist propaganda in a vain attempt to try and derail a potential nominee they are scared of, fellow democrats, don't turn on her.
