I've had a lot of sex in my life but never once smoked marijuana.

The fact I've been psychiatrically diagnosed as "psychotic" makes me think it wouldn't be a very pleasant experience for me, plus my religion says it's wrong.

I don't feel like I'm missing out though, my parents smoke marijuana and I remember when I was a child they always were horrible to me when they were high. They enjoyed scaring me and screaming at me when they were high on it.

I don't mind people who don't have children doing it, they typically don't hurt anyone else with it, but I feel like it is immoral and evil to smoke marijuana if you're in a household with children.

I use "pothead" and I've probably had double the amount of sex as an average guy my age.

I don't approve of illegal drugs, because they turned my parents into monsters and I don't anyone to have to suffer through that like I did. Weed is the reason I hate my parents.

Why would I be unhappy? When I saw the study, my reaction was that it just revealed the obvious. I still remember in my college newspaper the line someone wrote, that weed and sex go together like bacon and eggs.

and there it is.  Yes, for sure.  If you haven't experienced the difference anecdotally, science is pretty clear on the subject.  It doesn't make regular folk violent, but it makes those prone to violence closer to that edge.

Joe Rogan, my ex-father-in-law, thousands of NBA and NFL players and college athletes, many CEOs, on and on and on.  The conventional wisdom that all pot heads are low energy wasteoids is just not true.  Low energy wasteoids are drawn to pot, and other people use pot to self medicate mental health issues, but that doesn't mean pot makes you a mentally ill couch potato laughing at Spongebob.  Weed doesn't make you do "stupid things without thinking", it actually slows down that process by making you paranoid.  Not to say people don't do stupid sh**t on weed, but I'd wager a hefty sum that most of those dudes (it's always men) are doing stupid sh**t with or without the weed.

You don't "lose control" when high either.  Where are you getting your info, an early 90's D.A.R.E. pamphlet?
