The House Intel committee has released the full transcript (165 pages) of the testimony by Glenn Simpson of Fusion GPS, the company behind the Steele dossier.  It's available here.

It looks like there are quite a few items in this testimony that will be of interest to investigators.  Read this for some highlights: http://www.businessinsider.com/read-fusion-gps-glenn-simpson-interview-with-house-intelligence-committee-2018-1

Good article. Natasha Bertrand’s reporting on this matter has been top notch

I wonder how Republicans would react if David Plouffe, Rahm Emanuel and David Axelrod were sitting in jail 1 year into Obama's presidency? While Obama himself was under a special counsel investigation for collusion, money laundering and obstruction of justice

That would explain the sudden rush to release the fabled FBI memo and attempt to discredit Mueller.

The fabricated Nunes 'memo' potentially violates terms of agreement between House Intel and FBI/DOJ

It definitely sounds like this investigation sees obstruction of justice as the lowest-hanging fruit. What I wonder is what would happen if Mueller indicts Trump for obstruction without making a definitive statement one way or the other on conspiring with Russia to influence the election, à la Comey's "extremely careless" statement.

Yeah that’ll be interesting. Cross that bridge that day, of course.

This is a sign we *could* be starting to reach the later stages of the investigation phase.

This is like a Netflix series where the next thrilling episode drops without any warning... you know something will happen, but you don't know when.

So this could be nothing, but... apparently Dana Boente, th former US Attorney for the EDVA, is taking over as the FBI’s general counsel.

A number of indictments (Manafort for one) originated in his office

There have already been plea bargains, and one does not plea bargain unless either the charge is trivial or that there is some substance to worse possible charges. One very big fish already has the equivalent of the sonar of a hungry dolphin honing in.
