Paul Man-o'-Fraud apparently violated bail by having contacts with Russian connections.

LOCK HIM UP!

When the Kush gets indicted, could the FBI barge into the white house and arrest him at work? Or would they have to arrest him at his home?

I read this as their admission that he's guilty of obstruction (in addition to collusion). Now they're just trying to limit the damage.

Someone remind me, please - how well did "it's not illegal if the President does it" work for Nixon?

It worked in the sense that he avoided prison. Also, Trump has the luxury of his Mr. Burns-like minions protecting him in Congress.

I hate being a cynic. I really do. But Atlas needs to not get its hopes up on Trump leaving office or a Democrat beating a pedophile in Alabama.

To be fair, at least the former has a very slim chance of happening.

His lawyer is basically saying "The President is above the law."

Amazing. He's committing everything he accused the Clintons of doing.

Forget obstruction and collusion charges. I want Treason charges filed against President Trump. He gave aid and comfort to Russia, an enemy of the United States. That's the textbook definition of treason.

Trump says TODAY(!!!) that he still so feels so bad for Flynn, that "it's like lying to the FBI might have even ruined his life"...

As if hitching his star to Donald Trump wouldn't tarnish him.

I wonder what the military thinks of former General Flynn now.

It will be a boon for Democrats at the midterms though. Republicans will take an absolute beating with a pedophile and criminal president defining the party's image, much less the generational damage it will do for their brand.

Win-win, either he gets kicked out or he's a albatross around the GOP's necks for the next three years.

More importantly, have the rank and file changed their minds about not only Michael Flynn, but also Donald Trump since the last time they were polled back in January (I think)?

Nixon avoided prison because Ford pardoned him, not because of his "ingenious" defense about the president being above the law. The concept "if the president does it, it's not illegal" was articulated by him in 1977 as an excuse for his actions, not as an actual defense during the Watergate hearings.

Didn't Trump say that him collecting the financial information was the red line? Should be fascinating though...

All I've heard is that there was somebody fired from the investigation a while back because of texts that were critical of Trump, and whose expertise was counter-espionage.

Regarding the Tweet a few days ago about why Trump fired Flynn, can they trace the tweet to the phone used, and the tower it pinged off? If Trump's lawyer was nowhere near the tower...nuclear elmo time.
