No, the CDU is the only party in favor of an increase in sales tax. Which is already far too high for my liking. (It's 7% on food and a couple of other items, 16% on everything else. They want to make it 7/18.)
Now I could get on a long rant how the worst thing the current government has done is lower taxes and how misleading that 8th question is, but I'll spare you that.

With the additional revenues the CDU wants to cut payroll taxes.(Precisely contributions to unemployment insurance from 6.5% of gross earnings to 4.5%.)
