He's not exactly a household name, yet some people have him "ranked" higher among far more notable potential Democratic Primary candidates.

What has he accomplished? Do you think he really stands a chance?

I'd argue that Cheri Bustos, Cedric Richmond, Sanford Bishop, or Hakeem Jeffries would be better than Tim Ryan.Linda Sanchez and Ben Ray Lujan would make good Leaders/Whips/Conference Chairs/DCC Chairs..

He's a great Representative from Ohio. (Not my Rep though, but I used his passes to get into the House Gallery). He hasn't really accomplished anything. I really don't see him going for the presidency.

Now, obviously I'm biased being from Ohio, but I really think Sherrod Brown could be be the nominee in 2020. If he is, and we elect a Dem governor in 2018, then I could really see Tim Ryan appointed Brown's successor in the Senate, and he could be in for a while if Brown's approval ratings are good in his first few months.
