Instead of answering who you would have voted for, I have a new one.  What party would you have from 1860 onwards.

Here's mine:

1860-1869: Republican
1869-1897: Democrat
1897-1930: Republican
1930-1953: Democrat
1953-1997: Republican
1997-Present: Independent

1790s-1808 -Federalist (not a very partisan federalist though)
1808-1828 -Democratic-Republican
1828-1836 -National Republican
1836-1860 -Whig
1860-1900 -Democrat
1900-1912 -Republican
1912-1924 -Democrat
1924-1932 -Republican (only on the presidential level, though.  I would have voted for Coolidge and Hoover, but not Al Smith)
1932-present -Democrat

The probably would've been a Democrat until the mid 50s when I would've become a Republican. I wouldn't necessarily vote for that party (1912, 1916, 1968), but that's who I'd register as.

It's not necessarily who you would vote for, just what party you would have been a part of.  For example, I would have been a Republican voting for Johnson in 1964.

Take your vote in 1992 for example.  Just because you supported Bill Clinton doesn't mean you would have changed your registration to Democrat.

Easy:

1860-1930 Republican
1930- Democrat

Though I wouldn't have always voted for my party though.
