I did this poll I think two years ago, with the results pretty overwhelmingly in the "yes" direction. I'm curious, with Atlas getting younger and younger how the results shape up now.

Yes, for me. I was 7.

I was 5 months old, so obviously I don't remember a thing. All I know is that I was on a nature walk (well in a stroller) with my mother in the wooded area behind our old house. My dad was at McDonalds.

I was 7, but frankly, I remember the 2000 election better.

Yes, albeit vaguely.  I remember being in the waiting room at some beauty place while my mom was getting some service and seeing it on the TV, but not being able to fully understand it.  I also had started karate lessons the week before (and quit the next week) and remember my class being canceled.  That afternoon, my dad came home and reminded us how lucky we were that we were all alive (even though we didn't live in NY).

Yes, but it's a haze. I was 8, but most of it happened before I was even awake.

Thanks to it I'll always remember the first two classes of my senior year schedule. First period was Physics, second period was English. I left first period Physics on what seemed like a pretty normal day and went to second period English where I heard the news. We didn't even really have class for the rest of the day, every teacher just let us watch the news on TV.

I was 12 and in grade 7 back in 2001. I remember that day pretty well. For some weird reason, my school did not send the kids home, and didn't even tell the kids about the terror attacks. My friend who went home for lunch, mentioned that 2 planes had crashed into the twin towers, I thought he was lying or it was just two small cessna type planes. My friend did not elaborate any further, and I didn't ask any questions.

I didn't actually find about it until I got home from school, and turned on the TV and saw what had happened. Most other schools told the kids what had happened, and some even sent them home early as it would be such a shocking event for elementary school kids.

Very little, but I was living in Chelsea, Manhattan when it happened. My dad and grandpa were in Lower Manhattan that day, and I'm so glad they managed to escape before the towers came down. My grandpa saw the first plane hit, but he passed away about seven years ago so I never got a chance to get his full story.

Yes, I was in Grade 4 and was 8 years old at the time when they talked about it on the announcements at the end of the day, and I followed it a lot on the news when I got home from school that day.

Yep, I remember seeing the planes fly into the two towers on CNN like it was yesterday.  In fact, I remember that whole mid-to-late morning/early afternoon, even who was teaching my elementary school science class when everyone started getting picked up by their parents (the teacher was Mrs. Bixel, I was sitting in the back left side of her classroom and was the third to last kid in my grade (only like seven kids in my grade at the elementary school that year) to get picked up (my mom also picked up my cousins since they went to the same school).

Yep. 3rd Grade. Was playing with my dog before school and my parents turned the tv on. Then listened on the radio on the way to school.

Yes, it was horrible. As 13 year-old from Dubai, I saw the people jumping out of the windows of the 100th floor on television. I will never forget this. It was terrible.

Yes, I was 10 at the time.

We weren't released from school early, but lots of parents pulled their kids out.

I do remember watching what was happening on tv, and I remember my family was worried because my uncle worked at the Pentagon.
