No. We've got something like 90 Billion left without raising taxes.

I see. What if we do like a 2 cent tax on gas? Do you think that could create enough money for this?

So do we let this sit? Or amend it or have a final vote?

If we want to pass this, we need to find a way to pay for it.

What are we defining as infrastructure? Roads and port construction seem obvious, but does this also include things like municipal internet networks or bike lanes or logging roads?

Also, would anyone object to a rider prohibiting funds from paying for signs announcing that the project was paid for by this act. I remember an uncomfortable amount of ARRA money in 2009 2010 paid for large signs which effectively said "Obama paid for this construction project".  The infrastructure should speak for itself without us having to waste taxpayer money on bragging.

So for instrastructure Id say we split the allocation between 1.) Higgways, bridges, and logging roads 2.) Harbor construction, dredging, and coastal erosion control 3.) Airports and ATC radar and 4.) Publicly operated DNS backbone servers and municipal broadband.

A vote is now on the floor regarding the question of whether this bill should be tabled. Delegates have 48 hours to vote.
