In Bruce Poliquin’s repeated legal attacks on IRV, he’s done nothing but create a precedent for not only IRV, but all other alternative voting methods as well.

Thanks Bruce!

Ranked choice voting is a stain on our electoral process and should be abolished.

Ahh yes, giving people the right & ability to have their elected officials represent the choice of a majority of the voters is "a stain on our electoral process" that "should be abolished." Right on!  /s

So have Democrats with the electoral college but all we hear from the other side is "get over it".

Can someone explain why First Past The Post-which creates a spoiler effect and forces voters to vote for the lesser evil rather than the person they actually like-is better than Instant Runoff Voting-which allows voters to vote for the candidates they really like and ensures whoever is elected has a support of a majority(not just a plurality) of the electorate?

"Will of the voters"? Ridiculous! They don't even deserve to have their vote counted!

Grievances? Yes. Legitimate? Hell no. The only potentially legitimate grievance that could be had w/ the system is whether it'd pass legal muster re: the one person, one vote principle, & both the district & circuit courts just rejected his legal challenge b/c it lacked merit since the problem w/ that argument is a fundamental misunderstanding of (or a grave & intentional deception regarding) ranked choice voting & how it works. Voters don't get multiple votes; they only get a single vote that counts toward the results b/c voters aren't casting a ballot for more than one candidate, they're expressing their preferences & only their choice in the final round of tabulation counts toward the results.

No he doesn’t. His constituents voted for the system twice, and he ran in this election knowing full well that it would be held under a ranked choice voting model.
