That ad was absolutely terrible. Golden looks weak and small in stature. The ad plays out like an off brand male enhancement commercial. All it's missing is a scene with some old couple running through flowers. The "both sides need to get along" trope is so tired and feels especially out of place in the era of Trump and rampant Republican corruption. Idk, he kind of seems like a loser.

I think he's better than Lamb, who was very clean cut officer like who looked like a politician. Golden is more like a grunt, working class guy.

That could be a good way for him to win over Republicans. They love having worthless, insecurity-preying products shilled to them by Alex Jones or Ben Shapiro types.

AARP Maine did a poll of 50+ year olds in this race, and they have Poliquin up only 40-37. That seems like a pretty weak result for a Republican among a heavily GOP demographic.
