Canada. Ideally NAFTA would exclude Mexico.

- Very, very low immigration rate
- High taxation/spending
- Borderline theocratic
- Anti-gay and anti-SSM
- Very expansionist/imperialist foreign policy

Russian culture is amazing.
As for the government, it's repulsive and destructive for both the world and Russia itself, but I'm not surprised that homophobic authoritarians would support it.

To be fair, I'd argue Putin is better than Erdogan, Sharif, Jinping, Assad, and a great deal of Asia, including Iran and Saudi Arabia.

Canada - nearly seamless travel. Longer trade & peace with the US. Hockey as a shared cultural value. Cosmopolitan cities of Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver. Canadian Grand Prix at the iconic Circuit Gilles Villeneuve. CBC & Windsor stations over the air. Co-workers and colleagues making the daily drive to support our local industry. Natural beauty. great comedy & musicians

Canada. Ideally NAFTA would exclude Mexico.

What nonracial rationale could you possibly have for this?

Canada has reasonable labour and environmental protections, and wages here are roughly comparable to what one might earn in America.

Maybe, maybe not. There are many awful governments in the world, doesn't make any one of them good.

Mexico: their food is one of the greatest gifts to the world.

That said, I love Canada as well, and I think we should have an EU-style freedom of movement/trade with the Canadians.

Mexico. Neighbor implies we're different entities. At heart, (Anglophone) Canada and the USA are one and the same.

To visit or learn about I would say Mexico. They also have excellent food. If I had to live in one though I would obviously pick Canada.
