I know that in the Larry King Bush-McCain-Keyes debate, Dubya accused Clinton of throwing South Korea and Japan under the bus by friendly with China, and I know that tensions with China were high from when Dubya got into office until 9/11. I'm wondering if North Korea played a role in this and if Dubya campaigned on being tough on North Korea.
