With  40643  out of 40883 polling stations it is

Kenyatta   54.20%
Odinga      44.91%

79.04% of eligible voter votes have been counted.  So the implied turnout should be around 79.5%  when compared to 2013 86%.

The deadline for releasing official results keeps on getting delayed.

Odinga's new position is he will accept results if his team can have access to the electoral commission servers for analysis.

Kenya's Supreme Court today ordered a new presidential election after annulling the results of last month's poll in a shock decision in favor of the Odinga.  Chief Justice David Maraga said a majority decision by the panel of seven judges, with two dissenting, found that Kenyatta "was not validly elected", rendering the result "invalid, null and void".  Maraga said the election commission (IEBC) had "failed, neglected or refused to conduct the presidential election in a manner consistent with the dictates of the constitution".

Shocking development.

Let's hope the new election is conducted in a free and fair manner and that democracy has its way in Kenya.
