I was born in Iowa, but the Northwest can't be beat.

The Ducks offense after a slow start and only a 14-13 lead at the half pour it on in the second half to rout the Hawkeyes 49-28.

Oregon. I don't want to be lynched for apparently being an "illegal alien" by thugs donning MAGA hats.

Good thing we're talking about two states where that would never happen then...?

It could happen in Deplorable Iowa, the state that swung hardest to Trump.

Iowa seems decent enough, but there's really no contest here...

Iowa has the best public schools in the nation, has an excellent civil rights history and voted for President Obama twice ... let's not pretend like it's this wasteland of ignorance and racism ... because it's just not.

Eh, part of it, LOL.  Steve King is not being elected in any of the other districts.

Technically, that could happen in either state...

Agreed, but the Pacific Northwest has everything that I like.

Oh, yes. I forgot that they voted for Trump because of economic anxiety.

The word "Iowa" is not mentioned in that article one time.  Paint with a broad brush much?  I'd expect more of an allegedly open-minded and accepting liberal.

Considering it's a study about Obama-Trump voters, I'd say it's pretty applicable to Iowa.

The one with the lake in the middle of what used to be a volcano, has the most realistic chance of 60 degree July [aka the only acceptable kind], makes awesome cheese [rather than being forced over next door], and hosts a fictitious town that holds a gateway to another dimension ruled by an angry triangle.
