President Pence statement

12 PM

White House

I am here today to remind you of the losses sustained in this conflict. It is an unspeakable tragedy and many families will be stricken for many generations and reminded of the horrors of war. We will never forget the sacrifices of our beloved servicemen and women. They have paid the ultimate price in dying for our freedoms, they protect us everyday and no one wants to be involved in a full scale war. We ask that you pray for their families during this time of suffering and grief. Just remember that their sacrifice will not be in vain.

The new budget will be a flat rate for all income brackets, eliminating the death tax, and closing loopholes for corporations.

President Pence files with FEC for re-election campaign

President Mike Pence speech - campaign for re-election

Columbus, Indiana

Believe in America

I am here in my hometown to announce to you that I will be running to seek a full term in office in November 2020. I have taken the obligation of this office by extraordinary means. It is the greatest honor of my life to serve as your President. I was just a small town boy from Indiana who lived on a farm. It was here that I was born and raised with my rural values that my parents instilled in me. I believe whole heartedly in the American dream and the promise it brings to all citizens. I know that it did to my family and we were drawn closer together in our homes and communities. I am humbled and honored to serve you and I hope you choose to vote for me in my endeavor for re-election. I am a Christian, conservative, and Republican in that order. We must believe in our principles are Americans and have a commitment to each other. If we believe in America, we can believe in each other.

Presidential Pardon of Donald Trump

I hereby grant a presidential pardon to former President of the United States Donald Trump. Mr. Trump has served with dignity and was subject of a Russian investigation that forced him to resign the highest office in our land. I humbly ask that all charges pursuant to him be dropped and cease any speculation or debate regarding the ordeal in particular. He has done his sole duty to our nation and relinquished his office in the face of adversity and a relentless scandal pursued by the media and many opponents. It is my utmost hope that Mr. Trump may return to private life with his integrity intact and the American public to forgive his deeds. By the authority vested in me as President of the United States, I, Michael R. Pence, now grant Donald Trump a presidential pardon, a power granted to me by the Constitution. This pardon will extensively resolve all offenses committed by Donald Trump against the United States that he may have committed during his term.

I was skim reading the last three pages and was expecting a VP appointment. I figured it would be a more moderate, so I was thinking Haley, Rubio, Kasich, etc. But then, as I was skimming, I saw Jeb Bush's face and almost had a heart attack thinking that he was the VP appointment.
