Special counsel Robert Mueller finds incriminating evidence on President Trump regarding his ties to Russia during the campaign season and his meetings with the Russian ambassador. Putin did interfere with the election and Trump tried to prevent Mueller from knowing the real reason he was trying to obstruct justice: his illegal business dealings in Russia. By firing James Comey, he prevented the investigation from moving forward and this is liable for his count of obstructing justice. Knowing this, President Trump attempts to take drastic measures to salvage his presidency from utter turmoil. Mueller forced him to use his last option.

President Trump decides to dismiss Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, a sweetheart of D.C. and works his way through the Justice Department to find someone who will agree fire Mueller, similar to the Saturday Night Massacre. Rachael Brand, the U.S. Associate Attorney General decides to fire him. After Mueller's firing, there is a suggestion for Congress to introduce impeachment proceedings in the House of Representatives.

The House of Representatives review the articles of impeachment against Donald Trump, President of the United States. The articles proceed to a first vote. Since the House of Representatives is controlled by Republicans it is unlikely that it will receive a majority.

The House of Representatives conclude the first round of voting in the chamber and the results are in. All 194 Democratic Representatives vote for impeachment and 13 Republican Representatives vote for impeachment. The initial attempt fails and Trump rejoiced.

President Donald J. Trump - Address to the Nation:

My fellow Americans,

Today the House of Representatives voted on articles of impeachment, against me your President, and they have failed. You know, that the whole ordeal has become a major distraction on my presidency and should not interfere with my duty to serve you.

I will continue to do my obligation as long as necessary to make significant progress on important issues critical to the average American and keep my promises. I can assure you that you are able to trust in me to keep this country on the right course to a prosperous future. Our nation has much to offer and the American dream is currently being restored. Our economy is growing, we're keeping terrorism and illegal immigrants out of our borders, and we are working on repealing and replacing the disaster of Obamacare. With all of this measures, we can seek to attain a better future for our citizens and a better outlook for all.

Thank you, God bless you, and God bless the United States of America.

HOUSE VOTES TO IMPEACH PRESIDENT TRUMP
The House of Representatives hold yet another day to review and vote on another article of impeachment. All 194 Democratic Representatives vote yes, and 23 Republican Representatives vote yes. This constitutes a majority vote for impeachment of the President. The vote proved successful. The proceedings will now begin to move for a trial in the Senate. An unlikely majority was achieved, and Trump's removal is now becoming a real and imminent possibility. The President grows with tension and unease at this result. Trump became the 3rd President to be impeached, after Andrew Johnson and Bill Clinton.

UNITED STATES HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES
ARTICLES OF IMPEACHMENT AGAINST DONALD J. TRUMP, PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES

1st round of voting:

194 D, 13 R - Fail
207 / 227

2nd round of voting:

194 D, 23 R, 2 Abstain - Pass
217 / 215 / 2 [/size]

As Trump's impeachment faces an uphill battle in the Senate, requiring a 2/3 majority to remove him from office, it appears that advisors close to the President are relaying information that the President is currently holding a meeting with Vice President Pence to be prepared for the results of the Senate vote. VP Pence had just returned from delivering a speech in Cedar Rapids, Iowa at a fundraising event for Trump's re-election campaign. He was notified of the results of the impeachment vote in the House and told to immediately fly back to Washington, D.C. for an important meeting with the President.

Details of Pence's speech are below:

Cedar Rapids, Iowa - Fundraiser for Trump/Pence 2020 re-election campaign

It is the greatest privilege of my life to serve as your Vice President. I am here today on behalf of Donald Trump and to ask for you to pledge your support to us, your President and Vice President. We have served you to the best of our abilities and continue to do so everyday. I humbly ask for your support in our campaign for re-election. You voted for conservatives that can produce results and those who are able to keep their promises. The American dream is restored and fulfilled by each and every one of you. Together as citizens, we are able to contribute to the welfare and betterment of our beloved nation. Thank you so much and God Bless the United States of America.

Trial is scheduled to be conducted in the Senate on August 2nd and 2/3rds are required to convict and remove the President from office. Currently the GOP controls the Senate with 52 seats, and although it was unlikely for the articles to be moved, since they have now made it to the Senate it has been made clear that removal is a serious outcome. 66 senators must vote to convict the President on the charge of obstruction of justice and other 'high crimes and misdemeanors' according to the United States Constitution.

The Senate reviews the findings of the articles of impeachment in the U.S. House of Representatives and concludes that President Trump, his advisors, and campaign colluded with the Russians and intentionally compromised the integrity and security of the American electoral process. This would be categorized as treason and an unfair advantage given to him during the election. During a tumultuous period and when his plot would be uncovered, Trump fired Comey to prevent his real motive from being disclosed. He subsequently attempted to cover it up and lied about the Russian election interference multiple times. The Senate now has treason, obstruction of justice, and perjury charges against him. Since the Russians helped him get elected, the only solution and penalty would be to remove him from office. It now is moved to a vote on the Senate floor.

In the wake of Trump's resignation, 14 Republican senators including Sen. John McCain (R-AZ), Sen. Jeff Flake (R-AZ), Sen. John Thune (R-SD), and Sen. Susan Collins (R-ME) said they would have voted to convict him. Fortanutely, the American people were spared a crisis and the office's integrity remained intact. President Trump had done all he could to avoid it and needless to say did his best. Now, a conflicted and uneasy Vice President must come to terms with leading a divided nation. For our sake, can he recover and bring it back together once again?

President Michael R. Pence

Inaugural Address

U.S. Capitol Building

August 2, 2017

My fellow citizens, today marks a pivotal period in American history. There is no limit to what we are able to accomplish together as Americans. I would first ask that you commend Donald Trump and forgo the affair that had transpired. Together, we must give him well wishes in his return to private life. President Trump has had a profound impact on me and the way in which I govern. However, I will now be in control and hope to serve to the best of my ability. With the grace of God, I know there are no limits or restraints on the American dream and the promise it brings to so many people. I do hope and pray that during my administration you will place your utmost support and faith in me. I unequivocally will endure this tremendous honor and responsibility for the remainder of the term without fear. America can seek great things and we will reach the highest point on the horizon.

President Pence approval rating at inauguration:

Approve: 54%
Disapprove: 45%
