Did JFK, Jr. ever express any real desire to get into politics?

Either way, I think the possibility of having another Kennedy in the White House (plus the second political dynasty in U.S. history) is too good to pass up and Kennedy would win in a landslide.

Fifth political dynasty in US presidential history - Adamses, Harrisons, Roosevelts, Bushes, and now Kennedys.
I must admit I'm not as up to snuff on my American history as I'd like to be so thank you for the correction!
