The Fremont special senate election to replace tedbessell, who recently deregistered, takes place from July 7 through July 9. The spreadsheet, complete with crosstabs, is below. If Labor wins this election, the Federalists will only have a single seat in the Senate.

There is one day left to vote in the election. Currently, Alpha is leading by a slim margin of 2 votes.

Just for fun, I graphed the reported PM scores of all registered Atlasians and colored them by major party.

By the way Encke,
Thank you for doing that but I think it would be better if you could post progressively the new count instead of modifying the first post. So we would see the evolution.

Thanks anyway.

Excellent work! What happens if the final result is a tie?

I assume there will be a runoff of some sort, but I'm not sure, because the Fremont constitution, unlike the Southern constitution, makes no mention of runoffs in the case of a tie. Someone more knowledgeable about this can correct me if I'm wrong.

Alpha wins with 52% of the vote and a 3-vote lead.
