Like Arnold/Ventura, here's another scenario where most likely both candidates will lose their home states. Now post maps.

Taft would win a state in which he has a 19% approval rating?

of course id vote taft.

i must admit i was 100% opposed to the california recall.  it was an injustice and set a bad precedent.

Davis demolishes Taft, but only because it's Taft.

Gray Davis, because it's Enron that destroyed his career and not him personally, unlike Taft.  Voters in California are only now beginning to come to their senses and are realizing what a joke their current Governor is.

It may be 17%.

Or it was two weeks ago.  Not for long, though.  Although you have to ask whether people still approving of him would actually change their mind based on anything.

I don't think the posters on here understand how awful Gray Davis really was.  We literally lived in total darkness for a summer like some third world nation.  We were near the point where white people were going to move to Mexico in search of a better life.  What has Bob Taft done aside from be a douche bag?  I'd rather have a douche bag and electricity than a bore and no electicity.

I reluctantly vote Taft as Davis seems like a bigger screw up. I don't live in either state thank God.
