Ross Barnett/Strom Thurmond.

Who wins, and what does the map look like?

My map:

273: Eugene McCarthy/Ramsey Clark - 41.7%
203: Ronald Reagan/Howard Baker - 40.1%
61: Ross Barnett/Strom Thurmond - 16.9%
Others - 1.3%

Maybe flip Kentucky to Reagan, and maybe NC+VA to Barnett. If Kentucky goes Republican, I assume McCarthy is elected President in the House. I'm not sure what would happen in the Senate.

It would have been quite the romp for Reagan: 396-95-47. Reagan's appeal to ethnic whites and westerners, McCarthy's views on civil rights (well outside the mainstream of 1968), and Barnett's lack of charisma (relative to Wallace) would have produced a Republican landslide.
