I consider myself to be a left-wing conservative and I think France has quite a few too.

That would be beyond exciting. Especially two terms of Big Gretch after two terms of Dark Brandon.

A Disney movie with a mixed race gay character? That's three strikes, this teacher is out!

That's how Florida treats its educators for teacher appreciation week!

Yeah that's my fault, I was off the coast crab fishing a couple years ago with my lucky bowl of Wendy's chili from 2001 and accidentally dropped it into the water. I think it might've been radioactive because it turned the same color as Nickelodeon Slime for a couple of seconds and dozens of dead fish came popping up.

Yes. Big name schools, in general, are so competitive that Ivy League schools are essentially = "Daddy's Money U", as legacies and "big name" families are greatly favored in admissions, as opposed to average working class Americans. A handful of schools that greatly favor the elites shouldn't be almost single handedly being the alma mater of major political figures.

"Ladies and gentlemen, it is an honor that I get to serve the people of Lincoln in the Lincoln General Court. I would like to thank my constituents for giving me the opportunity to serve them in the Lincoln General Court and I look forward to cooperation with my colleagues to help Lincoln prosper in the years to come. Thank you."

No, he’s a third-rate internet grifter

What makes you think that's a dealbreaker for Republicans though?

Trump’s mugshot is due to him trying to overturn people’s democratic rights, hardly “raging against the machine”

Twin Cities. Research Triangle is still a liberal area, however the Twin Cities leans more left as a result of lower religiosity, and ironically enough a less diverse population, as white Democrats lean more to the left, on average, than minority Democrats

A symbol of hate, even if some who display it are simply too ignorant to understand that.

The two biggest names in the West Virginia GOP are Jim Justice and Shelly Moore Capito. The former is indubitably conservative on social issues but is more moderate on economic issues; he even supported Build Back Better. The latter is actually fairly moderate compared to the national GOP on both economic and social issues (which is really not saying much). While she is obviously pro-life, she opposes a 15-week national abortion ban. Against party line, she also supports equal pay for men and women and stem cell research. She also voted to increase the minimum wage. She is still obviously right-wing, but she is slightly to the left of the national GOP.

Why is the West Virginia GOP less conservative than the national GOP? On economic issues, it makes sense; West Virginia supported FDR's New Deal and LBJ's Great Society; laissez-faire economics would not play well in this state. On social issues, however, it makes less sense; West Virginia is, at this point, one of the most socially conservative states in the country. Will the West Virginia GOP become more conservative to more adequately reflect its constituents?

Only a negligible amount. This sort of moving around based on policies is detached from the reality of 99% of Americans, but can be prevalent among the ultra wealthy who we see an outsized amount on various different media outlets
