So you prefer the abortion laws in China and North Korea?

You used to be a rather bland, center-left poster. Is the pivot towards otherization a deliberate tactic to boost attention?

I have become somewhat more of a lefty recently.  Also, in the past, I was an overly cautious poster who avoided controversy, but I'm less concerned about what posters think of me than I used to be.  I'm more free to bluntly express what I think.

Having said that, I don't think it's an extreme position to consider support for El Salvador's draconian reproductive policies misogynist.

How're Canada's abortion laws, which provide the freedom of choice to terminate the pregnancy at all stages, equivalent to the forced abortions practiced in China and North Korea?

I'll be honest, I didn't click on either link. The use of the word "mysoginisy" is something I expect from our more abrasive posters; I was curious to see why such terminology spread.

Canada doesn't have any abortion laws so I suppose El Salvador by default.

Canada, but both are awful. I don't know how someone can support partial birth abortion.

I can't believe I agree with Kingpoelon on this, of all things.

I should point out I also would be willing to vote for a ban after the second trimester, with exceptions for the health or life of mother. Incest and rape exceptions would be preferable, but not necessary for my support.

I don't have any problems with it.

Do you understand what it is? The votes against are still a big stain on the records of many who were Democratic Senators at the time, as well as that of Collins, Chafee, and Snowe, at least to me.

El Salvador, but it's extremely awful to have 0 exceptions allowed whatsoever. It's, of course, marginally better than having NO abortion regulations whatsoever.
Ideally, abortions MUST be allowed in cases of rape or in case the mother's life is in danger.
