I was chatting with Nathan about the amazing nicknames that were given to old English parliaments (including the "Wonderful Parliament", the "Happy Parliament", the "Useless Parliament", and more), and we thought it would be fun to extend the custom to modern ones.

So far we've come up with:

1929-1931: The Parliament of Destiny
1931-1935: The Parliament of Traitors
1935-1945: The Parliament of Blood, Sweat and Tears
1945-1950: The Cradle-to-Grave Parliament

...

1966-1970: The Nice Guy FF Smiley Parliament
1970-1974: The Creepy Parliament
1974-1974: The Pointless Parliament
1974-1979: The Parliament of Discontent
1979-1983: The Bad (or Sick) Parliament, or The Iron Parliament
1983-1987: The Parliament of Horrors
1987-1992: The Parliament of Tears, or The Pickpocket Parliament
1992-1997: The Family Values Parliament
1997-2001: The Hip Parliament
2001-2005: The Bellicose Parliament
2005-2010: The Prodigal Parliament
2010-2015: The Flawless Beautiful Parliament, or The Miserable Compromise Parliament
2015-2017: The Hapless Parliament, or The Gambler Parliament
2017- : The Strong and Stable Parliament
