She's so out of touch and does not represent the trans community at all (a better representation would be Laverne Cox but oh well) while knowing that she's pretty much become the face of trans people. Also a massive hypocrite sometimes when it comes to her views, not supporting same-sex marriage until April 2017 despite (presumably?) being a lesbian. Not to mention her driving skills (or lack thereof) and some of the stupid s**t she's said recently.

I didn't know her before the whole Call me Caitlyn thing (European) so perhaps I'm wrong here. But I recall people speaking much more positively about her at the time.

Well she immediately became the most famous openly trans person on the planet when that happened, but Bruce Jenner was a US Olympian in the 70s who later got involved with Robert Kardashian's ex-wife, the mom of Kim, Khloe and the other one. So a lot of negative feelings for Caitlyn originate from Bruce's participation in the Kardashian empire. She got a lot of positive press, but it quickly dissipated when she tied herself to Trump.
