Many good choices.

Massive, massive FFs ideologically.

1. Mark Hatfield
2. Ron Wyden
3. Gordon Smith
4. Jeff Merkley
5. Bob Packwood

Packwood's only last because of the sexual assault charges.

L. D. Smith, would you object to us voting for two for Best if we feel two are more Best than one is Worst?

While it ain't what I had in mind, I can't really tell you how to vote. And given some of the results, it's obvious that this has happened before...along with frustrated lefties just voting for two bads in some of R only states.

Hatfield is a top five Republican Senator in the last fifty years, and its amazing he served so long with trash like Bob Packwood (though I have to admit Packwood is more competent than Gordon Smith).

Hatfield/Packwood.

I agree most with Merkeley and Wyden, but I think Hatfield was the best Senator.

Packwood clearly the worst.
