Scott is, by far, the most fitting for this title

I think this is actually an appropriate nomination.

I actually think Marty is a decent poster. He's better now than during the election at least

Murica! is on par SWE but he lacks recognition because of infrequent posting.
I mean, I consider myself quite awful(to be fair to myself, most of the time it's on purpose) but I blushed a bit anyway, thanks man.

Intell is another poster who got better after the election.

I'd put Shadows in the same category, although he's still only average IMO.

The two that spring to mind are the ones I made "Opinion of" threads on for that very reason - Blackraisin/Mr. Reactionary and Siren. If RI is not considered in the top tier of posters, I would definitely include him as well, since his precinct maps are pretty much what brought me to Atlas in the first place, and his religion map is an absolute beauty.

Yeah, RI's maps are amazing. It's too bad his political views are so terrible. Sad

Yeah, nobody thinks Jaichind is a bad poster.

I have an International Elections view of this, but Antonio, Diouf, Phony Moderate, Mr. Reactionary, ApatheticAustrian and Famous Mortimer all seem to be good posters that are underappreciated.

TheDeadFlagBlues is probably the best poster on here (when he posts) and AAD.
Not underrated though. Most people recognize that he's a good poster.

I think Nathan and Gaël don't get nearly the recognition they deserve - but then of course I'd say that. Tongue

The Mormon lefties (MormDem, Pioneer) are good choices, as are DFB and Figuiera. Among conservatives, I'd say Simfan and TJ in Cleve deserve more praise (although I have my issues with both).

Old Scott would definitely be up there, but I really can't stand the new persona he's adopted since his return. I know he has good reasons and I don't judge him at all, but that's still what it is.

Edit: Forgot TD. I love his commentary on congressional politics.

I'll concede that DFB is a good poster in the sense that he's substantive. Of course we don't get along-I compared him to Richard Ramirez and he threatened to clock me in a prior private IRC conversation, but that doesn't change the fact that his posts - however egregious the commentary can be to a Trumpist - are extremely well written and unique from a perspective that most of Atlas cannot relate to.

Nathan is an incredible poster. I still contend he is the conscience of this forum. We don't have a better person among us then him.

TD is my latest favorite. I can't believe I once disliked him, but when I'm absolutely whipped in an argument I naturally come to respect the poster who've done it.

I'm not sure if "underrated" is the right word, but there are certainly quite a few posters who I think get more hate than they deserve, especially on AAD.

Huh, you were never on this Atlas before? Welcome! I just assumed that you were some former member who had totally switched over to AAD.

I actually switched over to keep reading Averroes' posts haha; I've known about this forum for years but it always seemed much lower-quality than AAD.

Thank you all.

All of you bring interesting arguments to the forums and I do like reading all of you. So I appreciate the sentiment. Smiley (Also, Sanchez, I was a d*ck at the time, so...)

H/t to Technocratic Timmy in addition to the aforementioned people.
