The committee responsible for Presidential elections brings in less cash in a non-presidential election year!   Who would've thought?

As others have noted, money is going elsewhere. Money is going to smarter places.

I donated a ton to the DNC last year... For what? Their problem wasn't lack of money. It was their message.

This is stupid. First, according to this article, their numbers are only just shy of 2015, and comparing to 2016 is absurd given that it was an election year. Ditto for the other election years between 2010 - 2014. The amount received is not great, but it's not that bad either, all things considered. Second, other arms of the party have posted large, if not historic fundraising totals (as posted above). As individual candidate fundraising totals posted recently show, including for the special elections, Democrats are not hurting in terms of fundraising and very likely will have a lot of money to throw around in 2018.

Who in their right mind says "I want to help the Democrats win, I'm going to give money directly to the DNC and trust them to spend it wisely."?

Now it's "Onward together". She had to replace the word "Stronger" since her support was anything but strong. Tongue
