Looks like 10 precincts left to count, with Yancey +7 vote lead. Yancey has picked up 4 votes, Simonds picked up 7, with a net change of 3 votes toward Simonds from the initial 10 vote lead for Yancey.

Blue is Not in District, Red is Uncounted, Green is Counted, Purple is a cut precinct in another county that VPAP has on the district listing, leading to confusion on my part.

As @notlarrySabato said on twitter a moment ago, dems need a high number of uncalled ballots on the  remaining precincts to hope for a flip.

We have 5 precincts left. Since last call Simmons picked up 2, Yancy 1.

Margin is now 6.

Nobody has gained more then 3 votes per precinct, with some adding none to totals. Simmons needs a large amount of votes in these remaining 5 for any dem hope - unlikely.

I do not trust Tribbett. It appears Yancey is +4 with 4 precincts to go, based on confirmed precinct numbers.

I wonder if Simonds ended up winning by 1 vote, if Greedo would cry fraud. It's in line with his philosophy that it is because of voter fraud when a Democrat wins by a small number of votes.

The reason why there is confusion between 3/4 is because 1 Simmons vote is being challenged by the GOP. This is the first challenged vote, 5 precincts remain.

Reporters are saying Yancey +4 with 3 precincts left now. Tribbett says it is tied. So....idk

Edit: Yeah it may be that the unchallenged total is Yancey +4, counting challenged Simonds votes might be tied, unconfirmed.

So what I am hearing now is it is Yancey +2, with 2 Simmons ballots challenged before the judges- that is where the tie number is coming from at this moment.
