Well, I think being "Islamophobic" is - by definition - a bad thing, so I'm obviously not going to be voting for option 2.  However, I am not convinced that the current GOP is overly Islamophobic so much as some in the Democratic Party are hellbent on painting it that way and therefore take almost comical steps to avoid seeming even the least bit unsympathetic to radical Muslims, which is really dumb.  There are certainly Islamophobes in the GOP ranks, but party policy is not "Islamophobic."

I want to hear a major Republican stand up and say the words "law-abiding, hard working Muslim Americans." How can we expect to win a war when we can't even name our allies?

I agree with this. Not that the rest of the Muslim world is some utopia, but it would be nice if we could name the most serious problem cases and worry about those.

Yes, but this problem predates Trump to Dubya and the "sane" GOP circa 2007.

True, but you're only willing to criticize those who came before Trump, while Trump shows no signs of trying to correct any problem the GOP had with tolerance.

If someone says they're worried about 'Sharia law' in America, back away slowly.

There are Sharia arbitration councils for family and commercial "dispute resolution" all over the Western world. They are inherently oppressive to women. They are a real thing that the mainstream media and the political establishment refuse to acknowledge, just like migrant crime in Europe before it was exposed by alternative media.

I don't think opposing radical Islam is a problem for the West. Right behind Moscow threatening the West's freedom is the radical Islamic problem. The problem is the GOP doesnt have a comprehensive solution to the problem.

If we had a flat tax, we could have 4% annual economic growth. Supply-side economics solves all problems. Ronald Reagan defeated the Soviet Union through tax cuts, there is no reason why we can't do the same against radical Islam.

Santander isn't wrong, you know? Read Rothbard's critique of Reagan.
