Hey, c'mon now. Joe just ran in a bad GOP year. If had ran in 2010 or 2014 (and maybe if Ohio Republicans were a bit less greedy with the vote packing), he probably would have washed up in Congress just like all the other dissolute flotsam on the order of Blake Farenthold, Joe Walsh, etc.

Joe the Plumber was actually known and not just... well... a Joe Schmoe. Coal miner whose name isn't mentioned in the title or URL? That's a bit different (and less of a chance for him).
