Donald Trump is holding a rally tomorrow in Harrisburg. Local antifa are planning their own counterprotest

Local Oathkeepers are planning on a counter counter protest

Local Proudboys also intending to show up

Who's going to Harrisburg this Sat. to introduce themselves to #ANTIFA and support Pres. Trump? Antifa better be ready for Berkeley 2.0 🇺🇸

So there might be some trouble, although hopefully the local police will keep all protests in check. Might be an interesting night for news on the night of the White House Correspondents Dinner.

So is Trump going to ever actually do his job, or just spend his entire first term running for reelection?

The last thing the National Orangeist should be doing is having rallies in cites whose names end in -burg.

I know it's easier to hide in his safe space do a rally than it is to do a job that's much harder than poor little Donny thought it would be, but come on.

I have come to the conclusion that the true reason why trump does these "pep rallies," is to give himself a pat-on-the-back, and to create an illusion that everyone loves him and supports everything he is doing.

He knows his numbers suck with the public. He knows a large majority of Americans think he is doing a terrible job, but his brain cant and wont accept this, so he reverts to playing childish "rallies" to pump-himself-up. If he sees a large group of "his people" cheering him every now and then, then in his imaginary USA, he is the greatest. (Kind of reminds of Hitler rallies we see in documentary films of the Fuhrer, in the 1930's/40's.)

Once again, this is the narcissistic mental illness in him. He really needs medical/psychological help ASAP.

Or it could be that since his opponents on the left and in the establishment media seem to be in constant campaign mode against him that there's no reason why he shouldn't hold occasional campaign rally once or twice a month.

Also as has been pointed out there is an extra little bonus as well. Some of those opposition hostile media won't be able to attend the White House Correspondents Dinner, because they'll be covering the rally.

He's good at running for re-election. It's a good fit for his skills as a con artist and showman. At least, a far better fit than actually being President and running the government.  Expect him to spend a lot more time doing it.

Can you imagine of Obama golfed and rallied like this in the first 100 days? He was crucified for doing his job during that time. I didn't vote for Obama,
