CNN: Flynn broke law by taking $$ from Russia, Turkey.

President Donald Trump's former national security adviser did not properly disclose payments from Russia and does not appear to have complied with the law, House Oversight Chairman Jason Chaffetz and ranking Democrat Elijah Cummings said Tuesday after reviewing Michael Flynn's application for a security clearance.

Chaffetz and Cummings announced their findings to reporters on the Hill following a classified gathering of the committee in which they reviewed documents that Cummings described as "extremely troubling."
"I see no data to support the notion that Gen. Flynn complied with the law," Chaffetz said, referring to whether Flynn received permission from the Pentagon or the State Department or that he disclosed the more than $45,000 he was paid for a speech he gave to RT-TV in Russia.

Props to Chaffetz for looking past partisanship on this one. Although I suppose it's possible they've decided to sacrifice Flynn to shore up their position at the higher level.

So, the White House is refusing to turn over documents relating to Flynn's hiring despite him being closely a foreign agent. At this point the number of people in the White House with questionable ties to Moscow probably outnumber these who don't.

Obviously there's a scandal waiting to break on these things. Cummings seems aware of classified intelligence that probably suggests Trump had links to Russia beyond what we know, potentially.

Fake new from CNN again. Flynn did not offer to testify in exchange for immunity for prosecution. He explained why he would not testify without being given immunity for prosecution. He did not offer to testify at all and nothing he has said indicates that he has any intention or desire to testify under any circumstances.  The statement just explained why.
