Last week the county unanimously (and that's even the conservative members) passed a spending bill for attorney's for a lawsuit against him for other things he has done with withholding records and what not.

I think his days are numbered really, the right is turning on him now too.

Clarke is genuinely a terrifying individual. I know comparing politicians in developed countries to ones in dictatorships is in poor taste normally, but one could definitely imagine his type flourishing as a regime thug under Sisi or Erdogan or whatever.
