Gutfeld:You made a point recently about military spending. How in a Percy administration will you handle the Milltary budget?

Percy:Well if you look at Milltary spending since the Bush administration we have seem to spend up to 300 billion dollars on Milltary. And it isn't like Word War III is gonna happen anytime soon so I feel like I won't cut Milltary  spending I will in fact just freeze it cause either way we still by far have the biggest Milltary its not even close.  I believe Russia correct me if I am wrong has like only 60 billion dollars in their Milltary budget which is not close to what the US stands at now.

My comments about the Milltary budget has made Senator Rubio and his supporters irate for some reason.

We are 18 trillion dollars in debt. And you want to cut taxes while you keep spending on Milltary budget?

If weed want to see tax cuts boom you got to cut some sort of spending and bring in a balanced budget and like what happen in the 1950s under President Eisenhower the economy will boom.

Not I am not saying I will cut spending on the Milltary I don't plan that. I will however cut spending on the NSA which is something out of Nazi Germany it feels like.

Let me tell you something has the Patriot Act which will on day 1 will be overturned done anything to protect terrorism massacres in this country?

No we have still have had them. And we see people in airports lines get wrongly accused of being a terrorist and then they get sent off to jail for nothing. This is not okay and this needs to stop now!!

Marco Rubio's speech in Sumter, South Carolina, on Pearcy's recent comments on terrorism

Mr. Pearcy mislead my behavior about his comments on terrorism. I was not irate, I was outraged and astonished that Pearcy's doesn't know what it takes to keep America safe.

And now I'm astonished that he is so out of touch when it comes to foreign policy, national security and terrorism.

Let me remind you, Mr. Pearcy, that one of the main reasons why we managed to ensure America's economic growth under President Eisenhower in the 1950s is because of the Peaceful coexistence with the Soviet Union, which reduced the risk of a confrontation between the United States and the USSR. But today, we are living in a very different situation : a situation of growing terrorist threat, of Russian expansionist policy and potential acquisition of nuclear weapons by Iran. This situation is nonsense and it will be chaotic if we don't take action and restore American leadership. President Obama's weak foreign policy allowed this situation for eight years. We are in a time of war, which is far away from the Peaceful coexistence, so we have to accomplish our job to keep America safe, save innocent lives and defeat terrorism.

When it comes to Pearcy's question about the Patriot Act's effectiveness, yes, it accomplished a lot of things for America's security. I got to remind Mr. Pearcy that the Patriot Act allowed intelligence agents to share with FBI criminal investigators evidence that an anonymous letter sent to the FBI had come from an individual with Al Qaeda. That letter began the investigation into an alleged terror cell in Lackawanna, New York, that has resulted in six guilty pleas.

That same information-sharing authority was used against members of an alleged terror cell in Portland, Oregon, that an undercover informant said was preparing for possible attacks against Jewish schools or synagogues. Continued surveillance under the Patriot Act of one suspect led to six others, who likely would have scattered or fled if the first suspect had been arrested right away.

Thanks to Patriot Act, terror financing provisions of the law were used in numerous cases, including charges against a member of the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia, or FARC, on charges of being an unlicensed money transmitter. The same authority has been used to prosecute people illegally sending money to Iraq, Yemen, the United Arab Emirates and India.

Powers permitted under the Patriot Act have also been used in investigations involving potential school bomb attacks, computer hackers, child pornography, violent fugitives and illegal weapons sales. In one case, Patriot Act electronic communications authorities allowed law enforcement agencies to identify a person who had sent 200 threatening letters laced with white powder in Lafayette.

Over 40 terror plots, if not more, that were planned to be committed against the United States were foiled since the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001 thanks to domestic and international cooperation, as well as efforts to track down terror, including the Patriot Act.

So saying, like Mr. Pearcy did, that the Patriot Act did nothing to stop terrorist massacres in America is a lie. And not only it's a lie, but this is also a misunderstanding of foreign policy.

Without the Patriot Act, America will be deprived of the necessary tools to fight terrorism and stop terrorist attacks from being committed on America's territory, which will cost many American lives.

So the choice in this campaign is a third Obama term when it comes to foreign policy that contributed to stronger terrorist threat, decrease of freedom, democracy and security and multiplied terrorist attacks or proven leadership and stronger American leadership that will defeat terrorism through a modernized military, stronger alliances and stronger diplomacy, which will save American lives and innocent lives here and abroad.

The latter option is the best path to America's security and if you want this option, then I am your man, because we can't afford another four years of Barack Obama's weak foreign policy like the last eight years.
