Yes! Although it's strange to form an Exploratory Committee for a House seat...

Excellent news, he's probably the only Kansas Democrat that could actually win this seat.

Great! Given what happened in KS-04, and given the fact that the DCCC is actually targeting this one, he should actually have a chance.

He just might win. On the GOP side, Senator Steve Fitzgerald, who makes some ludicrous statements, is running. He's been tough to beat in his own district (Dems seem to fall just short), but perhaps Davis is the one to defeat him for Congress. Wondering who else may run for the GOP. I could see Jake LaTurner giving it a go also.

I vaguely remember a KC area State Senator saying something outrageous recently; I'm guessing that's Fitzgerald?

Nice! He's the best candidate here and that opens up Gov for Brewer or Svaty

Kansas Democrats may be making a comeback in 2018....James Thompson for KS-4, Paul Davis for KS-2, Carl Brewer for KS Governor....the Post-Sebelius/Parkinson era for the Democrats is going well.

Add in a decent candidate for KS-3 and I'll be beaming. Good thing there's no Moran on the ballot because any coattails could endanger Democrats' chances.

Would be great if Democrats won KS-02, KS-03, KS-04, and the governorship in 2018. KS-04 is probably too much of a stretch though.

Hey, if they do win 3/4 congressional districts, it'll just be payback for ridiculous Republican delegations in Democratic-leaning states such as Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and New Jersey.

Last time KS had a Dem-majority House delegation was 1917-1918.

Would be a crazy night if Democrats won KS-02, KS-03 and KS-04 as well as the governor's mansion. A Democratic governor and a moderate Republican state legislature could make some big changes in the state.

Could it be a reverse Massachusetts? If Brewer or Svaty end up like Sebelius it'd be kinda great...

True. If Kansas Democrats do well in 2018, Kansas Republicans will be going through a deep-soul searching.

I know Davis is a strong candidate and there's no Democrat in KS-03 yet, but to say KS-02 is more likely to vote D over KS-03 is weird.

IIRC - both Fitgerald and LaTurner belong to conservative faction in Kansas Republican party internal war. No moderate here?
