West Virginia and Massachusetts are pretty good fits in several elections, I think. But perhaps Utah and New Hampshire in say 1988?

forgive me for going on a rant...

massachusetts isnt as 'liberal' as it is portrayed.  it is actually pretty damn authoritarian.  no alcohol sales on sunday.  ha!  liberal my ass.

now governor mitt has vetoed the emergency contraception bill.

i wish massachusetts would get back to liberalism.
