Ted, do you support the President's EO putting in place the 'Mexico City' Policy, and what actions would you take in the Senate in response to this policy?

Anywho, this "resistance" thing, not sure you know about that but I would inquire with Mr. Blair on exactly what you are resisting and why I should continue working with an apparently hostile faction.

I mean, opposing the administration's bad ideas is a pretty standard role for the opposition party. That doesn't mean we can't work together where there is common ground.

Anyways, I'll leave now and let Ted get back to his campaign. Tongue

No No, I mean somebody is sending pm's about me being "Donald Trump" and saying that they need more members of "The Resistance". Apparently I am deporting illegal immigrants, killing babies, etc. Even though I signed into Law Deputy PPT Siren's bill granting illegal immigrants amnesty, funny thing! Eh?

Excellent question! I have concerns about the potential for this policy to cut off access to other contraceptives like condoms, and I would prefer some tweaking in order to make it less restrictive in that regard and in regard to issues of free speech. However, I consider myself pro-life, and think that with adjustments it would be a good policy.

So, I think that this policy should be restricted to organizations that actually perform abortions, and that it be changed from absolutely no funding for such organizations to cuts commensurate to the amount of their services consisting of abortions, and I would act accordingly in the Senate.

sh**t -- I read this when I was researching the policy, but I didn't scroll down to the "prohibited activities" portion.

Upon further reflection, yeah, it seems fine. Tongue

I have seen this, but since it's such a complicated subject and I have stuff to do I can't respond quite yet -- I'll have this answer, along with more stuff, up later today! Cheesy

Anyways - here are my general ideas on taxes:

 - As a general rule, less tax is better (to a point, of course)
 - While in Atlasia we have made significant strides in improving our business climate by reducing the corporate tax rate, I think we can do even more in this regard to make ourselves a great place to do business.
 - I think that a slightly progressive income tax with low rates across the board is the ideal system for our government and economy.
 - I'm not a fan of how big the gap between taxation on active income and various forms of passive income is, and I would be open to cutting the former and maybe reducing what you can write off as the latter in order to bring them closer together.
 - While I would have preferred for some of your proposals to have lower rates and perhaps fewer brackets, I generally haven't had major problems with them since they've reduced rates for most people and businesses.

I'm happy to expand on any of this if you guys would like!

Final Question, I just like asking them, What is your opinion of the Department of Peace Act?
