To clarify, as this is appealing a chair ruling, a NAY vote is a vote for the Nuclear option.

So is it likely he will be added?
What's the nuclear option?
Yes.

Changing the rules of the Senate to remove a 60 vote cloture requirement on Supreme Court nominees, so that the GOP can finish up their theft of this Senate seat. A terrible day for the Republic.

If Republicans succeed in nuking the filibuster, yes.

so bringing up a nominee 9 months before an election is somehow not doable, but ramming a nominee through within 2 months of his being named is something that McConnell was forced into. And zero Republicans are willing to stand up against this. Proving once again that there is no such thing as a principled Republican.

He has been in the Senate 40 years. A lot of changes over that time. I don't think he ever anticipated this though.

I can forgive Democratic Senators in Republican states voting for cloture and confirming Gorsuch, but I cannot forgive a Senate Democrat who votes to nuke the filibuster on SC nominees.

Greatness has been thrust upon us. A most beautiful and historic day. May April the 6th never be forgotten as the day Mitch McConnell saved us from our desolate path.*

Are they voting for or against the nuclear option? From my understanding, they voted against by voting "Aye." If so, bless their hearts.

Democrats will be thankful that the Republicans killed the filibuster for them once they're back in the majority.
