I'm confused: The graph at the bottom of the page indicates that the numbers are down from 42,504 in January to 23,589 in February, however the numbers in the text say it's down from 31,578 in January to 18,762 in February. What gives?

The graph seems to have a wrong title. It should be apprehensions and inadmissible

After Obama's first term, apprehensions dropped to the lowest since 1971. Didn't see Republicans giving him credit for it then.

this also coincides with a rapid decline in tourism to the US.

seems like Trump is solving the immigration problem by making it undesirable to be here.

Whites are still going to decline as a percentage regardless and that is what the anti-immigration people are really worried about.

Down 40% and it's still 18,762 a month!

and liberals have the audacity to say that it's not really a problem.

Some of them are racist, sure. Some are concerned that most of these new immigrants (who yes, happen to be non-White) are poor as hell, act as scab labor, and in the event any one of them is able to make their way into a middle management position, they start only hiring other immigrants.

-Because that was entirely due to the bad economy.

I guess that's one effective way to stop illegal immigration. Make them not even want to bother to come here.

That is the only effective immigration policy.

Works in Australia. If you come here illegally, the policy is to store you on a Papua New Guinea island where people punch the living sh**t out of you when you play up.

In Australian detention centres, Iranian and Afghani men would run riot, rape and pillage causing untold harm and expense knowing we have to protect their rights.

But now, those same idiots get beaten to within an inch of their life by big Papuan guards when they become drunk and abusive.

They only misbehave once.

Number of refugees entering illegally since we put the Papuan offensive line in charge of refugees in 2013.

Zero.

Trump must have figured this out by now. The wall by itself has no chance of success.

Offshore processing and temporary protection visas work.
