Really don't know much about them ... FF on what they say they're trying to do, HP on how they treat Black politicians who don't agree with the Democratic majority.

One of the most principled and consistently dedicated caucuses of Congress. I respect some of their more senior leaders to much to vote HP despite their massive overreaction to every word out of Trump's mouth.

Imagine what people would say about a Congressional White Caucus.

Imagine what people would say about a Congressional White Caucus.
All of Congress(1789-1870)

We've had an unofficial one for over two hundred years.

Yeah that could get the award for the worst statement of the day.

Anyway, huge FFs in every meaning of the word.

Because of how gerrymandering works, frequently a source of stasis/establishment strength within the Democratic Party.

Still FF on balance because like seriously, black representation in America is a miracle and a wonder if you look at history.

(I don't know what "HP" stands for.)

I wonder how the courts would react if a white congressman who asked to join the CBC and was turned down sued them on grounds that they engage in discrimination?
I think it's ridiculous to be an exclusive, blacks-only organization.
One day over 20 years ago, I was wandering the halls of Capitol Hill, and there was Ronnie Dellums (D-CA) giving a little speech to a crowd in one of the hallways. I stopped to listen to him. He was talking about how the CBC proposed a federal budget, but the House rejected their proposal. Dellums claimed most members of the House voted against the proposal just because of the color of the skin of the members of the CBC. It was an effort to restrain myself and stop from blurting out, "But the CBC rejects white people who want to join your caucus because of the color of their skin! What goes around, comes around!"
