Honestly, you should look beyond Menendez's support of Israel, at his other stances, and his ethics. He's corrupt as hell, and he's basically generic D, which I assume you would not support.

Menendez has been a leader on foreign policy issues, not just Israel, IMO. He has been a strong, liberal voice on opposing Cuba's dictatorship and a strong, liberal voice on opposing Maduro in Venezuela.

I don't agree w/ his domestic politics, but, usually, the Dems I support are only good on foreign policy, which is why I back them.

IMO, if he is convicted he should resign. But I believe in the standard that everyone is innocent until proven guilty.

Good sig. I see it often so it's like recognizing someone, and it helps that it's pretty unique.

I probably wouldn't support any of these endorsements, perhaps only in the general. But it's a nice and interesting signature Tongue

I probably wouldn't support any of these endorsements, perhaps only in the general. But it's a nice and interesting signature Tongue

FWIW:

Abdul El-Sayed: Youngest-ever Health Commissioner of Detroit who resigned to run for Governor on a left-wing platform. Would also be the first Muslim Governor in United States history. Will probably not make a real mark on the race but he's apparently close with Soros so who knows?

Dotty Nygard: A nurse running for Congress in the Central Valley out here in California against Republican incumbent Jeff Denham. Running on a progressive platform that highlights her support of single payer.

Richard Leonard: Corbynite candidate for Leader of Scottish Labour. Likely Corbynite candidate Neil Findlay decided not to enter the race so Corbyn's team scraped together this guy, someone whose only been in office for a year, to run. He's running on a "radical" pro-nationalization platform and his candidacy is important because, if he wins, he'll be given a position on Labour's NEC which, in turn, would give Corbyn-allies a majority on the council, thus allowing Corbyn to make the changes to the party that he wants.

Randy Bryce: Ironworker running a beautiful - but probably doomed - campaign against Speaker Ayn Rand.

Jon Grant: Socialist and ex-head of the Seattle Tenants Union who is running for City Council and is endorsed by Kshama Sawant.

Ben Jealous: Ex-Civil Rights Leader & Sanders-supporter who is running a viable campaign for Governor of Maryland that's centered on establishing a state single-payer system. Unfortunately, however, Maryland is probably not the state for his kind of message so he'll presumably loose to some hack in the primary.

Ginger Jentzen: Ex-fast food worker and local activist leader in the Fight For $15 movement who is running as a member of the Socialist Alternative party, which narrowly missed out on victory in a neighboring council district in 2013.

Khader El-Yateem: Palestinian-American lutheran pastor who is running as a candidate of the Democratic Socialists of America and is endorsed by the likes of Linda Sarsour. He's pro-BDS (so presumably you wouldn't support him) and claims to have been tortured in an Israeli prison during his youth.

I was wrong, and also apparently forgot Jealous and Bryce who I am familiar with. I could support El-Sayed in the general but probably not the primaries (especially after Rick Snyder's handling of Flint), I'd probably vote for Nygard (also, she has a cool logo), and would likely vote for Bryce. I'd probably not support Jealous in the Primary, and might support Hogan in the General anyway, but I could be swayed for him.
Wouldn't support any of the Socialists (Grant, Jentzen) and would oppose the Corbynite. Also, I'd probably vote for someone like Ted Cruz over El-Yateem, which says a lot.
Thanks for the explanation!

I can't support Biss after the fiasco with his first running mate, and I doubt Cordray's running, but I can see myself supporting Brown, Sanders and O'Rourke.
