I have a concern with this version of the Atlasian Voting Rights Amendment

This version of the VRA is still disenfranchising and prohibiting the right for people who have had minor criminal convictions from voting, as the VRA states that "As punishment for crimes of which the accused has been duly convicted".

Why, may I ask, are people who are being convicted of petty crime being disenfranchised from voting for the rest of their life?

However, this is not preventing me from encouraging voters to vote aye to the amendment, but I would like to see some progress on this matter during the next legislative period.

I must retract my recommendation to vote yes, in light of recent discoveries

I am asking the constituents of Lincoln for ideas of what they might want done during the next legislative period.

POLICY ANNOUNCEMENT

During the next term, if I am to be elected, I intend to bring forward a bill that will implement term limits in the region of Lincoln.

I will also introduce a bill that will allocate funding to a High Speed Rail feasibility study in the region, and, providing the latter of the bills passes, a HSR committee will be formed with members of the public on the committee board.

Official statement regarding the recent events perpetrated by the NLLC:

Over the last week, many of our region's citizens have been shaken by the action take by this terrorist group, known as the NLLC. We have seen them kill at least 25 of our own citizens. We have seen them take hostage our own national officials in the South, and we have seen our own Assembly members targeted.

These outrageous activities must stop. We must take every appropriate step to ensure that no more atrocities are caused, and make sure we can secure the release of Peebs, before anything can happen to her.

We can assure the Citizens of Lincoln, and the whole of Atlasia that Jason Martin will NOT be let off for his unspeakable crimes, especially the murder of 25 of our own citizens.

I am calling for my fellow assemblymen (RNG, and kyc) to be more active in debate.
Our Assembly is not the model of how a legislative body should be running, and it has to improve.

Ok, this is getting ridiculous. nothing is being debated on, and we aren't getting any bills, except from the governor. Do not expect to be treated well by the voters the next election unless things get done.
