Trump fired one of his National Security appointees, the advisor on the Western Hemisphere, for saying he thought how we were treating Mexico is nuts.

I would submit that when that many military men speak out against your policies, it's worse than a NSC staffer speaking out.


I beg to differ under the assumption that White House staffers are generally closer to the president ideologically (and physically) and hence it is more unusual for them to get fired.
