My stereotypical to the point of archetype Mid-Atlantic lace-curtain Irish oligarch grandfather--Pacific Theater, Harvard Business School, Wall Street, Exxon, Latin America--lived in Convent Station for the second half of his life. He was a more representative case than he would be in most places.
