Using the current Cook PVI as a base measure, what's the D+ needed to win a majority in the House?

I've seen numerous analyses that suggest could take anywhere from 6 - 12 points, although my personal opinion is 6, 7 or 8 points should do it. Basically a 2014 margin, but for Democrats. The flurry of activity on the left and growing organized opposition to Trump, combined with these kinds of generic polls is certainly cause for optimism in my book.
