While y'all are waiting to get started, I'd appreciate it if you would take this poll of the primary election (if you haven't already done so). Currently, Federalists are noticeably under-sampled; it's a short survey (only four questions), and I'd appreciate it if you could take a minute to respond.

Thanks in advance!

First off, I would like to welcome the members of this glorious Party to Atlanta for our Convention. It is great to have this assembly in the South once more and close to the home turf of our distinguished Vice Chairman, Senator and Chief of Staff, Leinad.

The task before us in this election is monumental, but as Federalists we are used not having the ability to benefit from sheer luck. No, as Federalists we have long had to climb steep cliffs and overcome incredible challenges to achieve victory and success. From our founding in the uncertainty of a party merger, to a severe division over reform between the leadership and base, to overcoming certain death and finally to being a leading presence in the 2015-2016 Con-Con. Our party doesn't shy away from the tough fights, we lead.

Last October, I took the difficult step of assuming the party's banner for the Presidential election. It was a campaign dominated with challenges too many to name and real life complications to boot and the end result was so bitter sweet. In agreeing to the Potomac agreement, we assured stability and through my one month tenure as President, I have championed the kind of dynamic engagement that if fully incorporated throughout Atlasia will truly enable us to succeed both with the bicameral system and as a game generally.

As Federalists, we must remain committed to ideas and to finding alternative methods. There are ways to pursue market based principles and regional rights, while still ensuring that people get the medical care they need and deserve. To ensuring we take care of those who are most in need of mental healthcare and of course. To restoring and growing our economy. The Federal gov't doesn't have to dictate it from above, it can be a collaboration between the regions and Federal Gov't. The President doesn't have to a unitary (literally) instrument but can operate as an active and engaged administration composed of dedicated advisers and supporting capacities that are more than just titles on a page. We can preserve the representation of regions and the people through their dedicated chambers while at the same time, ensuring that bills are getting passed and issues addressed in a timely fashion. It takes leadership, It takes imagination and it takes a cooperative dialogue.

I am fully confident that the Federalist Party will once again rise to that challenge. Welcome to Atlanta and I look forward to an exciting and fun convention.

Senator and Federalist Party Vice-Chair Leinad addresses the convention

Fellow Federalists, first off I would like to extend to you a warm Southern welcome to the Peach State. The city of Atlanta has an incredible history that mirrors our party's history. While we were never burned down in a war, early 2015 had us down to less officeholders than most minor parties can get. By the end of that year we had a Senate majority, and by the middle of last year we had a trifecta in government. Many people have approached me about the doom and gloom in the party, as if this is our lowest point and we will never bounce back. But this is far from our lowest point, and we sure as heck bounced back from that, so...why should we worry?

Under the Yankee presidency, activity has risen. Regional governments are functioning, and while we are still working out the kinks of bicameralism, things are looking up in Nyman, too. The National Security Council is expanding the way we play the game, and with all these people running for President you can tell that activity is making the game more compelling to watch.

Now is the time for the party to unite. Whether you are conservative, libertarian, or moderate, now is the time to come together and back the ticket that everyone in the party can get behind. Everyone needs to remember the date: February 17th, and go vote for dfwlibertylover for President, Goldwater for Vice President, and our many great Federalist candidates running for House! It is only with your help that we can make positive change in Atlasia--it is time to rise up and WIN THIS!!!

I prefer to sit out in this round of elections and consider a possible regional candidacy in the next election round.

Crap, new something was slipping by the wayside.

Are there any more non-fed endorsements wishing to be had before we proceed to a vote?

Also now would be a good time to make any speeches before the convention, both Federalist and non Federalist.
