The Ice King had been suspected of trying to interfere with the recent U.S. presidential election by freezing key pro-Democratic precincts in swing states. After his inauguration, President Trump lifted all sanctions previously imposed on Ice Kingdom.

The Flame Princess had launched a successfull political career in West Virginia, because of her pro-burning things stance (and that's what you do with coal). She's a likely candidate for Governor once Jim Justice retires.
