Kander's home state of Missouri gives him a geographical advantage in Missouri, Iowa, and nearby Indiana. He lives in Kansas City and is able to make Kansas competitive, as well as NE-1, which is similar to Nebraska statewide electorally but is on the east side of Nebraska near Missouri. Ohio is leaning in his direction as well. Kander coasts off an unpopular Trump to victory. In order to be re-elected, Trump would have had to win all tossups and "lean Kander" states.
