I decided against making a poll, since the answer would probably be quite different for each user. Which Democrat(s) would you at least consider voting for over Trump in 2020, should they run?

(I expect many to answer "none", but I thought it might be interesting to see which Democrats could get the coveted Atlas crossover vote, lol.)

I am the first, but not the second.  My moral protest over Trump is over and was in vein, so I can't see myself voting for whatever bum the Democrats nominate.  I will vote for an incumbent Trump if he moderates his tone and governs well.  If he acts on his campaign promises, I will vote third party.

Hell, if things are real bad, I might not fill out the POTUS spot.  Politics has been so depressing lately, and I've become disillusioned.

Jason Kander has it all and I'd probably support him enthusiastically. Love him. I'd also consider supporting Tulsi Gabbard and Andrew Cuomo. All of the other Dems... probably nah.

No one who could win a Democrat primary could be palatable to me.  It's hard to envision ever not voting for the Republican nominee.

Please no. He is not presidential material yet.

Though, if Greitens does not do well or if a statewide MO row office opens up in 2020 (he is an attorney, so he could theoretically run for anything), the Governorship or Open row office is his if he wants it.

Since my registration still is nominally Republican: I don't know the answer. If the incumbent does well, and disproves me completely and the country does well, I'll back Trump for a second term. I'm pretty sure he will prove me right though.

Democrats: I'm not really sure. I'll probably vote whoever they put up with nose plugs.

I'd support Joe Manchin, Jim Webb, Mark Pryor, Steve Beshear, Joe Donnelly and maybe Mark Warner over a generic R. I would only support Webb over Trump.

Weren't you going on and on about how you were a loyal Republican now and your views had changed since you were a Dixiecrat Democrat?

By generic R, I mean a Paul Ryan or Mitt Romney type. I would support a true libertarian conservative like Rand or Ted ahead of any Democrat.

Right now, I find it very hard to even conceive supporting a Dem nominee because of Obama and Kerry's harsh anti-Israel actions this past week.

But, I do have very positive opinions of some prominent Democrats: (only posting current pols)
- Chuck Schumer
- Bob Menendez
- Joe Manchin
- Andrew Cuomo
- Tulsi Gabbard

I could see myself possibly (though far from certain) supporting one of them if Trump is an epic failure but as of right now I'm committed to supporting Trump on most issues where we have agreements.

If Trump governs poorly, then maybe Gabbard. Nobody who could actually win the Dem primary will ever get my vote though.
